Corporate Center

Capitol Security Upgrades

This project was a Design Build with DMS and Southland. Phase 1 consisted of constructing a 10” X 10” X 8” CMV wall guard house and installed approximately 70’ of concrete barrier.     Knott Building Walkway Renovations

    Southland Contracting, Inc. installed a new sloped walkway to meet ADA requirements. Along with the sloped walkway, Southland Contracting, Inc. also fabricated and installed new railings and new carpet. This project was done in a 14 day time period over Christmas Break.

    Carlton Building Computer Room Renovation

    This project entailed demolition of the existing computer rooms and returning the space to offices. The project included asbestos abatement, halon gas, leibert, and raised flooring removal. DMS had funding issues that SCI worked within.  We found ourselves working with a DMS Mechanical C.M. as a sub and as the prime C.M. for coordination purposes.
